Shinichi is a 17-year-old student who has a passion for detective work, with the “unofficial” support of the police department, earning the public’s admiration and his nickname “The Sherlock Holmes of the 90s.”
One day one of his cases becomes complicated and some mysterious men in black force him to take an experimental “poison” that causes his body to become young again, leaving him a 6-year-old, physically.
Taking on the pseudonym Conan, Shinichi hides from those that would do him harm but he doesn’t give up being a detective, managing as best he can to solve cases for Kogoru, the useless private detective who is the father of Ran, Shinichi’s girlfriend.
Only a few friends and Professor Agasa, who provides him with numerous gadgets for his investigations, know his secret.
The dynamics of the series revolve around different cases in the purest style of Agatha Christie, to be solved by “little” Conan. This includes his search for the men in black, romances, and the comic situations derived from the “state” of the protagonist. Al these elements are the building blocks of this exciting story.
